Personality: The Werewolves are known for their ferocity and their savagery. They prefer to talk with theirs claws and fangs first.
Plus, with a strong territorial instincs, they tend to be suspicious with strangers, especially with humans.
But paradoxically, they're very social and humble creatures. They're content with what they have and they're happy with it. Plus, It's says earning their trust make them loyal friends to death.
But It has as many exceptions as It has with humans.
Lifestyle: Generally, werewolves live in pack they call "clan", lead by an Alpha. They care of each member of the clan and their possessions belong to all the clan and not to a single member.
Each males and females are assigned to a role based on their skills, even if most of time, males are assigned to physical tasks and females to anything related to their home.
They have a great respect for the Nature, their home and their source of power, and the Moon, in which they love her for its protection and the same time, afraid of her because she wakes their dark sides. And for that, they organize many rituals and celebrations in their honors.
Laws in a clan are, most of time, chosen by the Alpha and all the members follow the lead.
Werewolves keep fierly their territories and whoever enter its must expect to not have an pleasant welcome.
Most of werewolves live in savage zones, beyond human territories. Many of them don't like cities but some of them are "tamed this concrete jungle" and consider it as a proof of strength.
However, lifestyle, beliefs, laws and ranks can be really different from one clan to an other. Some clans have a female as an Alpha, others are more inclined to dialogue with humans, etc..
Rank: It's the werewolf social status in an ordinary clan.
-The Alpha is the highest werewolf rank. It's the leader of the clan, protect it and take all decisions. It's easy to reconize the Alpha of the pack because It's the tallest, strongest werewolf of the clan and wear many "totems".
-The Beta is the second of the Alpha. Bodyguard, advisor, second chief, support of an Alpha.
-The Gamme is the rank of every normal werewolf of a clan.
It hard to distinguish a Beta to a Gamma alone. The best way to reconize a Beta is the werewolf who is on the side of the Alpha.
-The Omega is the lowest rank. Assigned to weak werewolves, lone ones and those who don't follow the clan "spirit", It's a unenviable position because It bears the brunt of the clan's frustration. However, this rank is important for the werewolf society because the Omega canazile the ferocious instinct of werewolves on him. Without it, clans can be destroyed inside by a wave of untameable violence. It's for this reason an Omega accept this rude position as the clan accept him/her. But an Omega can become a Gamma by proving his/her values to the Alpha.
